Student-athlete spends 12 weeks in Gambia, West Africa going to school, training and playing matches with Kalabash Academy. Train in the morning with Kalabash Academy teams and staff, while playing one match a week against the top competition from the region. Evening gym sessions along with video analysis and player evaluations helps push players to their best level. The work off the field is just as important as on it.

Guided by the Kalabash Academy staff throughout the 12 weeks, players get to know the country and be completely immersed in the culture. Student-athlete will get an opportunity to visit neighboring Senegal, go on a Safari, Visit the local monkey park and crocodile pond, local markets, Nemasu eco-lodge, and even learn African drumming and dance.
